Six practical modules built around the tools VAs use for real client tasks. Watch each module, then put what you've learned into practice.

Before you start, here are the three phases you'll move through on your way to becoming an automating machine.
The Honeymoon
You've just discovered what Claude can do. Suddenly, every task looks automatable. You start a project for everything. You tell your coworkers. You tell your dog. You feel unstoppable and maybe a little smug.
The Wall
The project is 90% done. It has been 90% done for two hours. You've reopened the same chat six times. Something that worked five minutes ago suddenly doesn't work, and Claude has no idea why. You're one error message away from throwing your laptop out the window. Don't worry, everyone goes through this phase.
The Actual Skill
You've got a few things working. You stop expecting Claude to do your whole job and start using it for the parts that actually save you time. This is where it starts to stick and pay off.
A running list. Add to it as the team finds things worth passing on.
Put recurring context in Project Instructions instead of retyping it in every new chat
Keep each Skill focused on one specific task. Avoid combining too many instructions into one Skill
Use scheduled Cowork tasks for recurring work instead of manually starting them each time
Never share sensitive client information in a chat, project, or connector unless it's necessary
Install a full page screenshot extension like GoFullPage to capture an entire page in one screenshot
If Cowork won't start on Windows, check whether virtualization is enabled. Pro and Enterprise editions require Hyper V, while Home editions use Virtual Machine Platform. Ask Claude for guidance if needed
If Claude or another app is slow or stuck, try clearing the cache and restarting. On a MacBook, go to Help, then Troubleshooting, then Clear Cache and Restart
Claude can occasionally pull incorrect details, especially prices from online searches. Add a memory reminding Claude to double check price related information
Use Netlify to turn a design into a live, deployable website without needing a developer
Install the Claude Chrome extension. It can help complete browser based steps involving account logins or APIs instead of stopping to ask for assistance
Keep experimenting. If you repeat a process the same way each time, there's a good chance Cowork can help automate it
